Based on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire boarder, I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist registered with the GHR and a Mindfulness and NLP Practitioner. I became interested in hypnotherapy after recovering from a nasty horse-riding accident a few years ago. I began to suffer with panic attacks whenever I was trying to ride or even sit on my horse and I went to see a hypnotherapist for help. The transformation was amazing, which led me to want to help more people and qualify as a hypnotherapist myself.
Whilst on my hypnotherapy course, we learned about a technique called NLP, Neuro Linguistic Programming, which I found completely fascinating and felt complimented the hypnotherapy and vice versa and so I qualified in this also. Mindfulness has been incredibly popular over the last few years and can hold its own as a way of changing peoples perceptions or compliment and strengthen hypnotherapy and NLP techniques. This means that I have a number of ways of working with clients, giving a much more tailored therapy.
I have grown up with close family members and friends suffering from a number of life altering conditions, so I understand first-hand the challenges these can cause to everyday life. My aim is to help people in any way I can and help them to see the light at the end of the tunnel, when they might not think there is one.
